Downtown Kiwanis welcomes members

YOUNGSTOWN

Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.

Downtown Kiwanis has been around for 97 years, and membership is open to men and women who enjoy community service and involvement. New members are always welcome. Contact Jerry Osbourne at 330-770-0003 or email jkosborne@zoominternet.net for more information.

Anyone interested in learning more about Kiwanis is welcome at the next meeting at noon Friday at the YMCA, 17 N. Champion Street. Members enjoy lunch, fellowship, and listen to guest speakers. The speaker Friday will be Dr. Laura Meeks, president of Eastern Gateway Community College and the 2013 Athena Award winner.
