‘The Power of Few’ available on DVD


“The Power of Few,” the sci-fi action film written and directed by Boardman native Leone Marucci, is now available on DVD at all major retailers and online stores. It can also be viewed on some local cable companies’ on-demand services. The DVD includes behind the scenes interviews as a bonus feature. The film was released in February and had a limited theatrical run that included Youngstown. It starred Christopher Walken and Christian Slater. Fred D’Amico of Youngstown was a producer.

Gettysburg event at Eastwood Mall


The Battle of Gettysburg will be commemorated at Eastwood Mall from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today by the Trumbull County Civil War 150 Committee of the Sutliff Museum. There will be displays and exhibits about the battle. A portrayal of Confederate Gen. James Longstreet by Tim Perry will begin at 1 p.m. Brian Brennan of the Melnick Medical Museum will lecture on “Treating the Wounded at Gettysburg” at 3 p.m. Re-enactors playing President and Mrs. Lincoln, portrayed by Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Payne, and other military figures, will be on hand to talk to visitors.
