Caller to Home Depot threatens to kill employee

Published: Fri, July 12, 2013 @ 4:34 a.m.

BOARDMAN

A Youngstown woman was nearly run over by a 1998 Oldsmobile Bravada in the Home Depot parking lot on her way into work Wednesday afternoon.

After her shift, she drove to the police department to file a report and told police that she’s had ongoing issues with an acquaintance. Over the last two weeks, she has been receiving unwanted text messages from this person, according to a report.

When the woman walked into Home Depot following the incident, her manager called her into the office. She was told that a woman had called, threatening to kill her.

Police plan to interview the manager and retrieve copies of video surveillance.
