Fitch golfers qualify for Greatest Golfer

Four Fitch golfers have qualified for the finals of the Vindicator Greatest Junior Golfer of the Valley Finals. They are sophomore Joey Shushok, freshman Andrew Williamson, freshman Spencer Klema and freshman Anthony Catauro.

Fitch freshman earns spot in competition

Austintown Fitch freshman Andrew Williamson shot a 93 at Diamondback golf course on July 2 tying for second and qualified to play in the finals of the Greatest Golfer of the Valley to be July 28 at Trumbull Country Club.

Fitch boys golf sign up

Any Fitch boy that wishes to try out for the varsity golf team, and is not already signed up, should contact Coach Ed Santor at 330-261-2217 or at as soon as possible.

Benefit golf outing set

The Brett Wilcox benefit golf outing will be July 21 at Lakeside Golf Course. Shot gun start will begin at 9 a.m. The cost is $65 per golfer or $250 for a foursome. Cost includes coffee and doughnuts at registration, lunch, dinner and drinks. Sponsorships are available for $100 for a hole sponsor or $350 for a gold sponsor. First place will receive $400 and second place $200. In addition, there will be a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle and a 50-inch TV raffle.
