FOOD SALES AND DINNERS

THURSDAY

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have a drive-through chicken dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out). Dinners consist of stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. The cost is $6. Drive up to the door, and a volunteer will deliver the meal to your car. To order ahead call 330-549-2588 or 330-549-5106.

Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $6.50 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $7 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Prices are $6 for adults, $3 for children under 12 and $6.25 for carryout. Call 330-542-9928. The meals include meatballs, salad, Italian bread and coffee or tea.

FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

SATURDAY

Ashtabula Lighthouse Restoration Preservation Society will offer a fish fry from 2 to 7 p.m. at Lakeshore Park main pavilion, 1700 E. First St., Ashtabula. Cost of the fish or shrimp dinners is $10. SUNDAY

Mount Carmel Society and Holy Rosary Church will sponsor the annual Mount Carmel Festival kickoff spaghetti dinner at Mount Carmel Society Social Hall, 102 E. Washington St., Lowellville. Carryouts will be available from 11 a.m. to noon, and sit-down dinners and carryouts will be served from noon to 5 p.m. The donation per dinner is $8 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 10 and free for kids 5 and under. UPCOMING

Youngstown Shrine Club Pavilion, 1735 W. South Range Road, North Lima, will be the location of the annual prime rib roast for adults only from 4 to 8 p.m. July 27. The meal with refreshments will cost $30 per person. Advance purchase of tickets is preferred, but walk-ups will be permitted.
