AUSTINTOWN

Police charged two people with attempting to steal a yard tool from Tractor Supply Co., 6225 Mahoning Ave.

According to police, Michael Burns, 34, and Mindy Sierra, 33, both of Niles, were caught by store employees Sunday attempting to steal a grass and weed trimmer. Burns partially broke a fence in order to shove the tool underneath it for him to place in his truck. Sierra was the lookout for Burns as he did so, according to police.

Employees were alerted when an alarm went off at the fence. Burns and Sierra left the store but were soon caught. The trimmer was recovered.

Burns is charged with theft, and Sierra is charged with complicity to theft.

What the trash. Maybe these two fine citizens were trying to get tools for their new busy. I bet you these two are on some kind of government dole. Their benifits should be stopped for their crimes. I do not care if it is welfare, government housing, unemployment or the like, we should cease the benneis when these low lifes committ a crime.
