CRAFT SHOWS

Trinity Lutheran Church, 78 E. Liberty St., Girard, will sponsor a craft show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 3. Crafters are needed. Spaces outside and inside are available for $20. FESTIVALS/FAIRS

First United Methodist Church of Andover United Methodist Women are seeking vendors for its Arts and Crafts Fair, set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. The event will take place rain or shine at the Ashtabula County Antique Engine Club’s grounds, 4026 state Route 322 in Wayne, Ohio, 3.5 miles southwest of Andover. Leetonia Artisans Festival Committee is registering exhibitors for the 28th annual artisans festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 15 at Wick Park, Leetonia. The date has been changed. Registration forms are available at www.leetonia.org. Contracts will be available for $40 for a 15-by-15-foot space for exhibitors and $50 per space for food vendors with a state-approved food license. The deadline for registration is July 31. FUNDRAISERS

Pink Ribbon Golf Classic will take place July 15 at Squaw Creek–Avalon Golf & Country Club, 761 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, Vienna. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road, Canfield, is having its 4th annual Car Trunk and Treasure Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 27. Vendors can reserve two outdoor parking spaces for $25 or an indoor space with one 8-foot table with two chairs for $35 in the center’s auditorium. Those outside can either park and sell from their vehicles or park elsewhere and use both spaces from which to sell. Registration goes up $5 after July 15. The Ursuline Sisters will be selling used furniture and books, and the Ursuline Center volunteer chefs, The Leftovers, will sell finger foods. The event will take place rain or shine; there are no refunds. Proceeds will benefit the ministries of the Ursuline Center. Registration forms are available at www.theursulinecenter.org. West Side Cats is looking for vendors for its second annual motorcycle poker run July 21 in Austintown Park. There will be three bands, motorcycle contests, food, a cornhole contest and family fun. Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 505 Parkcliffe Ave., will host a trash and treasure event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Vendors are welcome and cost of rental space is $20. For information, contact the church at 330-788-1696.

Junior Women’s League of Canfield is recruiting vendors for the 44th annual Fall Market on the Canfield Village Green scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 21. Vendors may range from home-based businesses to arts and crafts merchandise to nonprofit organizations. Proceeds will benefit the community. For information call 330-506-4347.

Kinsman Rotary plans a chicken barbecue and townwide yard sales July 20. The barbecue will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and yard sales run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Maps are available at Market Square on the town square. Kinsman is at state routes 5 and 7, near 87. Don Reed Sr. is planning another tour to Israel from Oct. 23 to Nov. 3. This 10-day tour includes two days at the Dead Sea and Golan Heights. E.B. Family Life Center is planning a motor coach trip to the African World Festival, which will take place at Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, 315 E. Warren Ave. Detroit. Niles S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 14 E. State St., 330-544-3676, has planned the following: a day trip to Hartville on July 25. Destination will include Hartville Kitchen and Collectibles, Hartville Hardware and Hartville Marketplace and Flea Market. The cost is $55 per person and includes motor coach pickup in Niles, a full course lunch, a 6-inch pie to take home and a snack at the Marketplace before returning to Niles. The bus will leave at 8:30 a.m. and return at 4:30 p.m. The trip is open to anyone 50 or older. Adult children under 50 may accompany the seniors for a carefree shopping day. There are plenty of benches for sitting to take a break. The deadline for payment is July 10; however, a reservation is requested. Call the center as soon as possible; only a few seats remain.

OES District 2 is planning a fundraising trip to Coldwater Creek Distribution Outlet and Fenton Glass. The bus will depart the Warren Wal-Mart, 2015 Wal-Mart Drive NE, at 6:30 a.m. July 10 and return around 8 p.m. The cost is $72, and lunch is included. Call for menu options. Trumbull County Travel Club has planned the following excursions: Aug. 10, trip into Canada for the Peach Festival on the streets of Niagara on the Lake. Travelers will need passports. The cost is $60 per person, and final payment is due July 29. Oct. 8 through 13, Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico. The itinerary highlights the balloon fiesta, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, both cities, Loretto Chapel, Cathedral of St. Francis, the historic Turquoise Trail, Palace of the Governors, lodging, 8 meals and more. The cost is $1,799 for double occupancy. A $250 deposit is due on registration, and trip insurance will be available with final payment due Aug. 3. Trumbull County Travel Club meets twice a year at the Panera on Elm Road in Warren. There are no membership fees but participants must be at least 21.
