Great game- day eats

Published: Wed, January 30, 2013 @ 12:00 a.m.

Great game- day eats

No matter what the score is, give game day fans something to cheer about with great food, and plenty of it.

These simple, delicious recipes from Johnsonville are easy for you to make, which means you can sit back and enjoy the game with everybody else.

Recipes, including one for Italian Sausage Lollipops (above) on C2.

Frozen salads from Lean Cuisine

New from Stouffer’s Lean Cuisine brand, a new kind of frozen meal: salads.

Actually, the Salad Additions are ingredients with which to make a meal-type salad out of whatever greens you furnish separately.

All four feature “grilled white-meat chicken,” vegetables, dressing and a crunchy topping.

They are: Asian-Style Chicken; Bistro Chicken; Cranberry & Chicken, and Southwest-Style Chicken.

Salad Additions makes the fifth category in a rearranged and renamed Lean Cuisine lineup that appeared in 2012.

The current lineup is Culinary Collection, Spa Collection, Market Collection (in bags), Simple Favorites and Salad Additions.

The total number of offerings is 132.

While the other Lean Cuisine offerings typically weigh 8 or 9 ounces, the Salad Additions clock in at just over 7 ounces.
