Ex-office manager to pay restitution in theft case
YOUNGSTOWN
A 51-year-old Boardman woman, who pleaded guilty to stealing a six-figure sum from her employer between January 2008 and February 2011, has been sentenced to five years of probation and to make $124,000 in restitution.
Judge Lou A. D’Apolito of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court imposed the sentence this afternoon on Lori Lamb, of Oakridge Drive.
Lamb, the former office manager for Morris Drain Service on Simon Road, was indicted on the felony theft charge in July 2011 and pleaded guilty to it last November.
Lamb had quit her job with the drain service in February 2011.

Steal $175,000.00 from a bank you go to jail. Steal it from a hard working family run business and you get probation. Some things make you go Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
No surprise here, all you have to do is check the court records, and low and behold you find her attorney was J. Gerald Ingram.
I have always told my family if you find me in a tough place where the law is concerned, you find the money to hire Mr. Ingram, and give him what ever he says that it will take to get me a satisfactory outcome, just like most of his cases are resolved.

No hard feelings, just an observation over time.
Every time I hear of these outlandish results in court on TV, I always just pause to see who the defending attorney is and 9 out of 10 times it is J. Gerald Ingram who is doing the bidding for these people that otherwise would do a lot of prison time getting a slap on the wrist.
