CARD, BINGO PARTIES
Daughters of Sts. Peter and Paul of Holy Apostles Parish will host a valentine bingo and card party from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 10 in the social hall of the church, 421 Covington St., Youngstown. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. Lunch will be included. There will be 50-50 and basket raffles. St. Patrick’s Home and School in Hubbard will be sponsoring a marketplace and craft show Feb. 16 in the parish center. Local crafters and artists are being sought. NIGHTS AT RACES
Second Chance Animal Rescue is sponsoring the 13th Annual Night at the Races from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Saxon Club, 710 Meridian Road. Admission is $5.
St. Luke Church, 5225 South Ave., Boardman, will sponsor its third annual Mardi Gras Beer Taste at 6 p.m. Feb. 9 at its banquet hall. Doors open at 5:30. There will be food, music, dancing, a basket auction and 50-50 raffle. Tickets are $25 a person and are available after weekend Masses and at the parish office. St. Patrick Youngstown/St. Vincent de Paul will be sponsoring a Ladies Night Out on April 11 at the Ursuline Center on Shields Road, Canfield. Blessed Sacrament Parish Covelli Gymnasium, Warren, will be the site of a Casino Night and Texas Hold’em Tournament Saturday. Doors open at 5 p.m., play begins at 5:30. A $50 buy-in receives $1,300 in chips; register during business hours at the parish office before Thursday and receive an additional $200 in chips. Relay for Life Team Rachel is sponsoring a trip to Mountaineer on March 23. The bus will depart at 10 a.m. from the parking lot of St. Edward Church, 240 Tod Lane, Youngstown. Boarding will begin at 9:30. The bus will leave Mountaineer at 4 p.m. and arrive at the church about 5. Cost per person is $30.
