Mooney senior Marcus McWilson has decommitted from Nebraska following an official visit to Kentucky this weekend.
McWilson, a safety, committed to Nebraska last February. He wrote on his Twitter account: "Officially decommitted from Nebraska. Not an emotional decision, doing what's best for me."
Kentucky recently hired Mooney High graduate Mark Stoops as its head coach. Nebraska is also coached by a Mooney graduate, Bo Pelini.
McWilson's classmate, Courtney Love, has already enrolled at Nebraska for the spring semester.

Maybe he saw one of those Pelini crazy man sideline tirades and said "uh, never mind, I can play for old Mooney guys elsewhere"!
Probably true. Pelini has to learn to keep his emotions more in check (if that is even possible) or he won't be able to recruit top talent. His Bobby Knight-like outbursts don't work in 2013.
It's good to see UK recruiting Youngstown area football talent.
