Police continue to investigate an 8:35 p.m. shooting Wednesday outside of a house on Idylwild Street Northeast that left a 66-year-old Bristolville man with three gunshot wounds to his legs.
Alan Schweikart of Housel Craft Road was in satisfactory condition at ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital Thursday.
Schweikart was leaving a female friend’s house when he was robbed and shot by a black male dressed in black who took Schweikart’s wallet,
police said.
The thief tore the wallet out of Schweikart’s pants, police said. They questioned one man Wednesday night but released him.

Another animal that needs to be caged up.
Don't you know it's ok for the poor and downtrodden to shoot and rob the rich (i.e. those visitors with cars and wallets) when their monthly allowance becomes depleted before the end of the month? The need for drugs and alcohol does not stop when the allowance dries up. Don't be so insensitive.
