KOKRAK LIVE / Kokrak 2 over par

SAN DIEGO — Warren's Jason Kokrak shot a 2 over par 74 in the opening round of the PGA Tour's Farmers Insurance Open.

Kokrak's round on Thursday had four birdies, four bogeys and one double bogey.

Kokrak's second round begins Friday at 12:10 p.m. His playing partners are Boo Weekley and Chez Reavie.

Brandt Snedeker, the defending champion, played bogey-free on the North Course for a 7-under 65 that gave him a share of the lead with K.J. Choi.

Tiger Woods, a seven-time champion at Torrey Pines, was in range of the lead until two bogeys on the last four holes, and having to scramble for par on the par-5 18th hole on the South for a 68.

Phil Mickelson had a 72 on the North.
