Ahead 28-27 at halftime, Poland broke out with a 26-15 third quarter in which Kevin White scored eight of his 10 points, Kyle Dixon had eight of his 17 and Danny Black added all seven of his points. Jacob Wolfe led the visitors (12-1) with 19 points. Brandon Bensing scored 24 points for Lakeview (3-11) and Jake Pishotti and Tom Bell added 10 each.

East Palestine 51,

Columbiana 50


Nate Keylor and Austen Reiser both had 17 points for East Palestine (6-7), which benefited from making 18 of 32 free throws. The Clippers were 6 of 10 at the line. Keylor, who made one of his four 3-point goals from beyond half court just before halftime, sank two free throws with 0:12 remaining to put the Bulldogs up by four before the Clippers made a 3-point goal with five seconds left. Jake DeJong’s game-high 26 points paced Columbiana (3-10).

Heartland Christian 55,

Leetonia 54


Glenn Hoffman’s free throw with seven seconds remaining sealed the victory for Heartland Christian (12-3). Hoffman scored 26 points while Caleb House netted 10. Brandon Crawford made 12 rebounds while Kyle Burgess made six rebounds and five assists. For the Bears (7-8), Ian Sevenich scored 17 points and Trent Ferry 10.

Southern 54, Toronto 42


Luke Griffith scored 22 points and Kyler Woodward 19 for the Indians (10-5). Dillian Gault led Toronto with 12 points.


Beaver Local 40, Wellsville 29


The Beavers (3-14), who built a 27-12 halftime advantage, were led by Sierra Wright with eight points. Wellsville (7-9) got nine points from Brittany Clendenning.
