Grove city, pa.

The seventh annual Ronald Reagan Lecture, presented by The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College, will feature two Reagan colleagues at 7 p.m. Feb. 5 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus.

The Rev. John Boyles and Bob Morrison will join Grove City College’s executive director of The Center for Vision & Values Paul Kengor in a discussion on the faith and beliefs of former President Ronald Reagan.

The lecture is titled “God and Ronald Reagan, Revisited.”

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is encouraged.

The Rev. Mr. Boyles is pastor of the National Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C., the church that President Reagan joined shortly after his inauguration.

Mr. Boyles not only ministered to Reagan, but also was tasked by the president with some critical missions relating to the Soviet Union and Cold War.

He also chaired the Reagan administration’s Advisory Committee on Ethical Values.

He later served as protestant chaplain at Bryn Mawr, Haverford and Swarthmore colleges.

Morrison, who served Reagan in the Department of Education, worked closely with Secretary of Education Bill Bennett.

Morrison continues to work with Bennett, assisting him in several books, including the best seller “America: the Last Best Hope.”

In 1991, Morrison joined the staff of the Family Research Council.

A Reagan biographer himself, Morrison has paid special attention to Reagan’s faith story, including its relation to the fall of communism.

The Center inaugurated the annual Ronald Reagan Lecture featuring author and radio talk- show personality Michael Reagan in 2007.

Each year, the event has provided eyewitness testimonials to the leadership style and guiding principles of President Reagan.
