YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning County grand jury has indicted a man and a woman on charges related to an apparent Boardman home invasion. It also indicted a man who was shot by a Youngstown police officer he purportedly tried to run down on the city’s West Side.

Doretha Weston, 36, of Miller Street, and Keymonnie Harris, 22, of Blackburn Street, Campbell, were indicted Thursday on kidnapping and felonious-assault charges and two counts of aggravated robbery with firearm specifications.

The charges stem from a Dec. 15 shootout at a Terrace Drive home, in which the homeowner told police he returned fire after the male invader fired at him, and that the invaders fled.

Harris, who was shot twice in the arm and once in the head, was apprehended shortly thereafter by police near Southern Boulevard and Willow Drive.

In a Dec. 16 incident stemming from a traffic stop at Richview and Connecticut avenues, Jesse Cooper, 39, of West Ravenwood Avenue, was indicted on charges of felonious assault on a police officer and failure to comply with a police order.

Officer Brad DiTullio attempted to stop Cooper for expired license plates, but Cooper tried to escape by driving through rear yards, striking DiTullio with the car after DiTullio emerged from his cruiser, police said. DiTullio then shot Cooper twice in the abdomen, police said.

Others indicted were:

William Navarro, 35, of East Philadephia Avenue, robbery.

Jawuan Brown, 19, of East LaClede Avenue, failure to comply with a police order.

Termaine McCall, 35, of Grant Street, Niles, domestic violence.

Garrisone Anderson, 36, of West Warren Avenue, heroin possession.

Demetrius Dixon, 38, of Mahoning County jail, domestic violence, aggravated burglary, theft and violation of a protection order.

Ernest L. Lewis, 42, of Felicia Avenue, felonious assault.

Gregory Stanford, 44, of Pennsylvania Avenue, misdemeanor domestic violence.

Justin J. Kizar, 25, of Poland Avenue, Struthers, grand theft.

Robert P. Wisler, 34, of Crescent Drive, Struthers, receiving stolen property, forgery and vandalism.

Kasandra L. Morrison, 19, of East Liberty Street, Girard, heroin possession.

Rose M. Panezich, 58, of London Drive, identity fraud.

Duane T, Gray, 23, of Mahoning County jail or Shirley, Mass., robbery.

Jevon Prieto, 29, of Atkinson Avenue, tampering with evidence and two counts of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse into a detention facility.

Ja’mon Foster, 19, of North Portland Avenue, heroin possession, marijuana trafficking and escape with a forfeiture specification.

Boisseau Harris, 38, of Broadway, two counts of heroin possession with a forfeiture specification.

James Mosley, 32, of Matta Avenue, cocaine possession with a forfeiture specification.
