“I cried like everyone else [about the Newtown, Conn., shootings]. ... But these changes are not going to save lives.”

Mike Miller, spokesman for Miller Rod & Gun Inc. in Struthers, commenting on sweeping gun-control laws proposed Wednesday by President Barack Obama.

“Lance knows everything that happened. He’s the one who knows who did what because he was the ringleader. It’s up to him how much he wants to expose.”

Tour de France cyclist Frankie Andreu, saying Lance Armstrong should tell U.S. Anti-Doping Agency officials what he knows about the use of performance-enhancing drug use in the sport and name names.

“If Facebook thinks people are going to start searching Facebook when they would have searched Google, then I think they are going to wake up in a year and find they are sorely mistaken.”

Nate Elliott, Forrester Research analyst, downplaying a new search feature that’s designed to entice people to spend more time on Facebook.
