Charles Kuhns, 18, and Joseph D. Barta, 19, were killed when their car collided with a tractor-trailer in Route 422 in Geauga County.

1938: Usher John Ezzo and projectionist Peter Patti are credited with acting quickly to safely evacuate 300 children from the Wellman Theater in Girard after a $10,000 fire breaks out.
