Warren man cited for smoking pot at bar

Agents from the Ohio Department of Public Safety cited Jelani Franklin, 27, of Warren for reportedly smoking marijuana outside a bar Friday night.

According to reports, the department was investigating complaints at Uncle Sil’s Bar and Grille, on the 2774 Youngstown Road SE.

The report said they saw Franklin smoking a substance that appeared to be marijuana in a Chrysler Sebring convertible shortly before midnight. After confirming the drug, agents charged Franklin with a minor misdemeanor and issued him a citation to appear in municipal court, the report said.
