Kokrak shoots second straight round of 69

Published: Fri, January 11, 2013 @ 7:50 p.m.

HONOLULU — Warren JFK graduate Jason Kokrak didn't get another eagle Friday in the second round of the Sony Open, but he did shoot a second consecutive 69 to move to 2-under par.

Kokrak's second round included birdies on holes 1, 9, 10 and 18. Kokrak also had birdies on 9 and 10 in the first round on Thursday. He finished the first round with an eagle on the 18th hole, sinking a long chip from the fringe.

Some players are still on the course at Waialae Country Club.

See Saturday's Vindicator sports section or visit vindy.com for more about Kokrak and the Sony Open.
