N. Peyakov scored 15 points to lead the Panthers. For the Wildcats (3-7), Ray’Quan Phifer and Kyle George led with six points each. The Wildcats were 2-of-16 at the free-throw line.
Heartland Christian 34
Nick Ballone scored 14 points, dished out four assists and made four steals to lead the Rockets (6-3). Paulo DePasquale added 11 points and seven rebounds and Pat Mangine contributed six assists to go with eight points. Heartland (4-3) was led by Jared Robinson with 10 points.
Mineral Ridge 61
Johnny Simcox drained five 3-pointers and finished with 19 points for Bristol (8-0). Chad Oliver led all scorers with 32 points and Cody Pyle and Zack Bibell each scored eight points. For Mineral Ridge (5-4), Zack Hagy hit four 3-pointers and finished with 24 points. Nate Palmer and Corey Phillips had 22 and eight points, respectively.
Dustin Hajnosz had eight points and four steals and Nick Johnson added seven points and five rebounds for the Red Devils (3-6). Windham (8-1) outscored Lordstown by at least nine points in every quarter.
Beaver Local 63,
Zack Mick drained four 3-pointers and led Beaver Local (7-3) with 16 points. Troy Hudson added five, while Jared Lyder scored 12 points with seven of the Beavers’ 32 rebounds. Chris Hillard added eight points. For Southern (6-3), Kyle Woodard scored 19 points and had five rebounds. Dylan Ketchum added 18 points and Luke Griffith scored 12.
Pymatuning Valley 37,
Warren JFK 27
Robert Seger scored nine points and Dom Naples added eight for JFK (3-5). Tim Cross scored 18 points to lead Pymantuning Valley (7-1).
Akron Manchester 64,
The Panthers (8-1) posted a 5-0 run in the final three minutes to pull away. Alex Kelin’s 27 points included five 3-pointers. Also scoring in double figures were Karley Daugherty with 17 points and Kayci Krzynowel with 12. For the Wildcats (9-2), McKenna Shives led with 17 points. Ashleigh Ryan scored 16 points, Ashley Hefferon 13 and Brittaney Zupko 11.
Warren Harding 34
Emily Gibbs scored 16 points to lead the Spartans (4-6). Also reaching double figures for Boardman were Jada Redd with 13 points and Megan Volosin with 12. For the Raiders (2-8), Moesha Parks led with eight points.
Mineral Ridge 50
Ally Jones scored 21 points and Kylie Stoneman tallied 19 as Bristol improved to 8-3. Jones also had 19 rebounds and seven blocked shots. Mineral Ridge was within 30-25 at halftime but a 21-10 third quarter decided the game for the Panthers. Alyssa Harkins scored 19 points and Adrianna Reese 10 for the Rams (1-9).
