WARREN

ValleyCare Health System of Ohio announced the ratification of two new collective bargaining agreements tonight.

Members of the Ohio Nurses Association at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital and the Service Employees International Union at Trumbull Memorial Hospital both approved new pacts.

The agreement with the nurses expires Nov. 30, 2015; the SEIU pact expires Jan. 31, 2016.

“The professionalism and commitment of our employees is a key part of our ability to provide quality, personalized care for our patients,” Trish Hrina, ValleyCare marketing director, said in a news release.

She declined to release further details on the pacts, referring questions to union officials.

The Vindicator’s calls to union representatives were not returned tonight.

ValleyCare operates TMH and Hillside in Trumbull County and Northside Medical Center in Youngstown.
