Trumbull grand jury indicts Warren woman on burglary charge

Published: Thu, February 28, 2013 @ 3:45 p.m.

WARREN — A Trumbull County grand jury indicted Ashley S. Morgan, 27, of Norwood Street Northwest, on one count of burglary in an Oct. 17 break-in at a house on Eagle Creek Road.

A homeowner at 1858 Eagle Creek said the door to her house was open, and she found Morgan inside. Morgan didn’t try to flee when the woman entered, saying she came in because someone was chasing her.

But police found a bag of items from throughout the house, including jewelry, beside a couch, Lt. Don Bishop of the Warren Township Police Department, said.

Morgan waited at the home with the woman until police arrived, Bishop said.
