Youngstown man pistol whipped, robbed over the weekend

Published: Mon, February 25, 2013 @ 4:22 p.m.

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for the man who entered a South Side home, pistol whipped one of the occupants and ran off with the victim’s wallet.

According to police, a 26-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were sitting in an East Boston Avenue home late Friday evening when a man came through the door brandishing a gun and ordering them to the floor.

The assailant, wearing a hooded shirt and dark pants, hit the man in the face with the gun before going through his pockets and taking his wallet.

The armed thief attempted to steal a television, but it proved too large to carry so he just ran out of the house, police said.

See you can use a gun as a hammer
Save bullets that way

I always buy the largest TV that I can afford and this article shows why it is prudent to do so.

He probably didn't have any bullets in the handgun and needed money to buy some. Friends, neighbors and acquaintances make good sources of ready cash. Using a weapon on them is the normal mode for a withdraw by many south side residents.

No description? Of course. Another slithering cockroach that needs to be squished into the ground.

He owed Booky money for drugs and wouldn't pay his bill so Booky had to do what any bill collectors would do to get their money.
