DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — A southwest Ohio woman says she was fired three days after the presidential election because of her vote for President Barack Obama.
The woman has filed a lawsuit in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court seeking damages starting at $25,000 against Q-Mark Inc. and its president. The Dayton-based company is a manufacturers’ representative business and defense contractor.
The Dayton Daily News reports that Patricia Kunkle alleges that company president Roberta Gentile told employees last year that Obama supporters would be the first to be terminated if he got re-elected.
Kunkle had become a full-time employee of the company in May 2012 and says she never received any negative evaluations or disciplinary action.
The company says she was laid off for economic reasons and cited uncertainty over U.S. defense spending.

What is she worried about? Her boy Obama will take care of her. She never has to work again!
Well, there's several ways to look at this. She knew the ground rules laid down by the company. Not saying those rules were right, but those were the company rules. She obviously let it be known who she voted for, so I say she should be let go, not because she voted for Obama, but because she is so dumb. Sometimes if you want a job, you bite the bullet and keep your mouth shut.
Amazing that this man and his company suck off the tit of government and they resent a democrat being elected for fear of bigger "government."
What an idiot this woman is. She was forewarned and was stupid enough to tell them who she voted for. I say, good for this company for doing what they say they would do. Thousands of companies have gone belly up because of Hussein our Muslim Dictator. He could care less about the jobs problem. He only cares about his next vacation or game of golf.
