Published: Wed, February 20, 2013 @ 8:46 p.m.

MINERAL RIDGE — Demolition at Weathersfield schools under an Ohio School Facilities Commission grant and local funds totaling $25.4 million is scheduled to begin June 3.

Superintendent Damon Dohar said today that bids for heating and air conditioning are being advertised. Work on demolition at Seaborn Elementary and the high school is scheduled to start June 3.

Part of Seaborn will be torn down and an addition will be made to the building. Interior work will be done at the high school.

Construction is scheduled to start Sept. 14, and the demolition of most of the middle school should take place in the winter 2015, Dohar said.
