YOUNGSTOWN — The newly formed Downtown Business Alliance of Youngstown has scheduled a news conference Thursday to brief reporters on its objectives and mission.
A component of Youngstown CityScape, a nonprofit organization, the alliance will act as a collaborative forum for stakeholders in the downtown business district.
Similar efforts in the past have not lasted, but as the city’s downtown grows, the group aims to create a safe, attractive environment that helps attract and retain profitable businesses.
The news conference will take place at 10:30 a.m. at V2 Wine Bar Trattoria, located at 100 W. Federal St.
