Published: Sun, February 17, 2013 @ 12:00 a.m.

YOUNGSTOWN

Police, responding to a call that a man had been shot shortly after midnight Saturday on South Avenue, found the victim in front of the South Side Civic Club, 3407 South Ave.

The victim, Darren Moore, reportedly in serious condition in the hospital, told police that the shooting had occurred at a bar up the street that sells hot dogs, according to police.

Police, while searching for evidence, discovered a Glock pistol with a loaded magazine on the floor of the passenger side of a car in the parking lot at Club Twister, 3114 South Ave., which had a sign advertising hot dogs.
