TODAY

Beaver Creek Sportsman Club, 14480 Washingtonville Road, Washingtonville, will serve fish or shrimp dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Dinners are sit-down or carryout. Cost is $9 for fish and $8 for shrimp.

Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Cost is $7. For takeouts or to order ahead, call the church at 330-743-3175.

Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., will serve a Lenten breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. There is no fee but donations will be accepted. For information call 330-533-2246.

Girard Eagles 2172, 26 W. Wilson Ave., will serve a fish dinner from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the back hall. Dinner will cost $8, and carryout will be available. Call 330-545-6619 to order ahead.

Girard Knights of Columbus will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the hall, 122 S. State St. Cost is $7.50 for adults, $4.50 for children 4 to 12 and free for kids 3 and under. Pop and water are an additional 50 cents each. The children’s menu is macaroni and cheese. Carryout is available; call 330-545-3432.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Adult meals cost $10; a child’s meal is $5. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the parish’s eighth-grade class field trip to New York City.

Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 420 Clearmount Drive, Youngstown, is hosting a pasta fagioli, soup and dessert luncheon from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. for a freewill offering. Cost for takeout is $6 per quart. Call the church at 330-788-8707 for information.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. The cost is $5.75 a dozen.

THURSDAY

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Avenue Ext., North Lima, will serve its monthly drive-through chicken dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Cost is $6. To reserve dinners, call 330-549-2588. A portion of the profits are used for mission projects.

Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6.50 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $7 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

Deerfield Masonic Hall, 2380 state Route 225, will be the location for a soup and salad dinner sponsored by Palmy Chapter 114, OES, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $6; takeout orders will be available. Proceeds will be used for the chapter’s philanthropic efforts.

VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12; carryouts are $6.25.

FRIDAY

American Legion Post 737, 16465 Milton Ave., Lake Milton, will serve fried fish, chicken or shrimp from 3 to 7 p.m. Each meal is $8.50 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for those 3 and under. A fish sandwich is $5.50. For carryouts call 330-654-5630. There also will be live entertainment from 7 to 11 p.m.

First Presbyterian Church, 3654 Main St., Mineral Ridge, will serve fish dinners from 5 to 7 p.m. Dinners are $8 for adults and $4 for children. Carryouts will be available.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Pick up orders from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 a dozen. Place orders from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday or 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528. Pick up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be available at 11 a.m.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order, call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $6 per dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.

St. Brendan Church, 144 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. in the church hall. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. An extra piece of fish is $5, and extra sides are $2 or $3. Luncheon specials from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. are for takeout orders only for a dinner for $9 or a sandwich and side for $6. St. Nicholas Moms and Dads Club will sponsor a fish dinner at St. Nicholas Church Great Hall, 764 Fifth St., Struthers. A $6 lunch special for takeout only will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Phone orders to 330-755-5859. Dinner hours are 3 to 7 p.m. Meals cost $8.50 for adults and $4.25 for children; meals are free for age 5 and under. There will be no advance orders.

St. Patrick Parish, 315 N. Main St., Hubbard, will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $8, and children’s meals are $6. Shrimp dinners are $7, and pirogi, haluski, macaroni and cheese or ravioli dinners are $6. For carryouts call 330-534-4219 after 3 p.m.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Takeouts will be available at 3 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12 and free for kids 5 and under.

VFW Post 9571, 11397 EllsworthSFlbRoad, North Jackson, is sponsoring an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Also available will be four-piece chicken, chicken fingers or shrimp dinners. Cost is $8 for adults and $7.50 for seniors.

VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will have a fish fry from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.

SATURDAY

Good Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market Street, North Lima, will have its annual beef tips and noodles dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Takeouts will be available. Cost for adults is $7.50 and for children 6 to 12 is $3.50; kids 5 and under eat free. For information or tickets call the church at 330-549-2406.

Hubbard Baseball Boosters Club will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at Hubbard United Methodist Church, 48 Church St. Tickets are $5; kids under 3 eat free. Buy tickets from a club member or at the door.

Western Reserve Masonic Lodge 507, state Route 88, West Farmington, will serve a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults and $4.50 for children 5 to 12; kids 4 and under eat free. Carryouts are available for $7.50.

SUNDAY

Fowler Fire Department, state Route 193, will host a pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Adult tickets cost $6, seniors, $5; children, $5; and preschoolers are free.

Girard Boys High School Soccer Club will have a pasta dinner fundraiser from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Girard hall, 22 N. Market St. Baskets and gift cards will be raffled.

Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., will have a roast beef dinner from noon to 2 p.m. sponsored by the Men’s Organization. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. For information call 330-876-4485. Proceeds will benefit Boy Scout Troop 93.

Southington American Legion, 3145 Warren-Burton Road, will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $6.50 for adults, $4 for children under 12 and free for 4 and under.

Ursuline Boys Golf Team is serving a spaghetti dinner from noon to 5 p.m. at Ursuline High School, 750 Wick Ave., Youngstown. Carryout will be available. Tickets are $7 for adults; $4 for children age 4 to 12; and free for those 3 and under. There will be a basket auction. For donations, call Cindy Francisco at 330-507-1555.

VFW Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve a homestyle breakfast sponsored by the ladies auxiliary from 8 a.m. to noon. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

Youngstown Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown, will host a pork and kraut dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Takeouts will be available. The cost is $8.75 for adults and $5 for children.

TAKING ORDERS

First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church Hill Road, is taking orders for 15-inch homemade pepperoni rolls, stuffed pepper soup, chicken noodle soup and fresh-baked bread until Thursday. Pepperoni rolls are $7 each, soup is $5 per quart and $3 per pint, and bread is $1.50 per loaf. Place orders at 330-647-7515. Pickup is between 3 and 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, is taking orders for Easter kolachi. Cost is $12 each for nut, nut with raisin, poppyseed or apricot. Pickup will be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. March 9. Orders also are being taken for Easter bread with raisins for $8 each; pickup is from 5 to 6 p.m. March 23. Call Charlene Bury at 330-519-5311.

St. Mary Church, 356 S. Belle Vista, Youngstown, is taking orders for homemade haluski with dumplings and pasta fagioli for $6 per quart. Pickup will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Call 330-792-1578.

St. Patrick Church, 167 Main St., Leetonia, is taking orders for pirogi at 330-277-0046 or 330-427-6577. There will be potato and cheese; potato, jalapeno and cheese; kraut; cabbage; or spinach and ricotta. Cost is $6 per dozen, and pickup will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fridays and 10:30 to 11 a.m. Sundays after Mass.

Youngstown American Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., is taking orders for stuffed cabbage for carryout only. The cost is $13 for a dozen rolls. Take your own containers or pay $1.25 for each container provided. Deadline for orders is March 1. Orders may be picked up from 1 to 3 p.m. March 7, 8 and 9. To order, call 330-792-5124.

Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, will serve chicken dinners from noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 24. It will feature homemade noodle soup, one-half roasted chicken, vegetable, salad, potato, roll, dessert and coffee or tea. Adults cost $11 plus tax and children under 12 cost $5.50 plus tax. Poland Presbyterian Church, 2 Poland Manor, will be the site of the Boy Scout Troop 44 20th annual all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 24 in the fellowship hall. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under. Carryout dinners will be available. Tickets can be bought in advance from any troop member or at the door.

Pricetown United Methodist Church, 4640 Pritchard-Ohltown Road, Newton Falls, will serve a ham dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20. Tickets cost $7 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. Carryout will be available.

Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will serve a free pork chop supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Feb. 21.
