SHARON, PA.
Penn State Shenango will have a community book sale and basket raffle Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the McDowell Hall Community Room on Shenango Avenue, downtown, to benefit the Mercer County United Way.
Hundreds of gently used books, as well as some CDs, DVDs, games and puzzles, will be sold at prices ranging from 50 cents to $2.
The 11 baskets, each with a different theme, will be on view Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The winning basket raffle tickets will be drawn Feb. 22.
