Three-vehicle crash wrecks a Boardman police cruiser
BOARDMAN
A three-vehicle crash that heavily damaged a township police cruiser resulted in only minor injuries to the officer in the cruiser and to the occupants of another car.
All were treated and released from St. Elizabeth Health Center, according to Sgt. Darrell Wagner of the township police.
The crash occurred around 4 p.m. Saturday as Officer Nick Antonucci, who was southbound on Glenwood Avenue, struck a westbound car that was crossing Glenwood from Melbourne Avenue. The police cruiser then clipped an eastbound minivan, whose driver was not injured, the sergeant said.
Antonucci, who was cut on his hand, went to St. Elizabeth in Boardman and the occupants of the other car to St. Elizabeth in Youngstown.
No charges have been filed.

The lady crossing Glenwood from Melbourne ave was driving and texting. I proffer my comments for your comments. Quid pro quo you see:
As a responder in Vindy City, In the County of the Land of Mahoning, I respond to this article regally and put my thoughts into a post, legally.
You see, and I have got to state this meagerly, to be, you see, yes she, that stupid she, is morally, ethically, spiritually, physically, positively, absolutely, undeniably and, reliably, herein at fault.
If it is found that the lady was texting and driving then she should get charged with attempted murder!!!
At the very least give her assualt on a police officer!!!
We need to get these texting idiots off of the roads!!!
There are so many drivers out there who have no clue of what is going on around them as they drive. Then there are those who are on their cell phone while they drive and they are in another world.
