Author of ‘Hope’ to speak at library

YOUNGSTOWN

Rich Harwood will host “The Work of Hope” at the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Harwood, founder of the Harwood Institute and author of “The Work of Hope,” will host the event in the Reading Room of the Main Branch of the library system at 305 Wick Ave. in Youngstown.

The event will be free to the public.

Harwood will speak about what city residents need to do to restore belief in themselves and one another and how they can get things done together.

The event is sponsored by the Public Library, Wean Foundation, Park Vista, Meridian Community Care, Carlton Sears, Sid Jones, Tim Bresnahan and Sonny Smith.
