Faculty lecture series to continue Monday

SHARON, PA.

Penn State Shenango continues its faculty lecture series with Brandi Baros, Penn State’s assistant professor of biology, speaking on bacterial contamination and food safety from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.

The program will take place in Sharon Hall, Room 105, on Penn Avenue in downtown.

The event is free and open to the public.

Baros received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Allegheny College in 1995 and earned her doctorate in biological sciences from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002.

Before coming to the Shenango campus, she was a full-time assistant professor at Allegheny.
