Widdersheim arraigned in her son’s death

STRUTHERS — A Struthers woman charged with child endangerment in the death of her 14-year-old son, was arraigned this morning on the charge.

Shain Widdersheim, 32, waived the reading of the charge in Struthers Municipal Court.

Widdersheim’s son, Teddy Foltz, died Saturday of severe head trauma. Widdersheim’s boyfriend, Zaryl Bush, 43, is charged with killing the boy.

Widdersheim was given a bond of $100,000, of which she must post 10 percent. Her preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. March 5.

WHAT kind of a mother would sit back and let some puke abuse her son... she has to be as sick at Zaryl Bush... I think they need to bring back public executions....

I would like hear what feeble excuse Children Services has...to the media on why this was not investigated when this abuse was reported to them numerous times... some people need loose their jobs over this incident...

Children Services needs a good internal investigation on on their employees and their supervisors..

The teachers of two school districts report abuse and she is allowed to pull him out and "home school" him? Something is way wrong with the system.

She was likely also a victim of this abusive monster who should be called anything but her "boyfriend". He is not a boy and he sure as heck is not her friend. The killer is a misogynic monster. Who protected his victims, the mother and her teen?

TWO school districts AS WELL AS neighbors reported this abuse in the last 3 years AND she pulls the kids out of school after the last report and CYS or the POLICE can do NOTHING!?!?!?!??! But the game commission is able to enter a home and search it with nowarning if they suspect you shot a deer out of season~our country is so broken...someone needs to be held accountable for this precious life...and that pathetic egg donor and her monster should suffer the EXACT FATE of that poor child!!!!

Shows just what could happen when children are kept away from there rightful parents. I've had issues with this myself. Only I know if this EVER happened to me there would be NO WAY they could stop me in a Court from going after the person that harmed my kid. This whole deal was avoidable and should have never happened! I have a police scanner and live in Struthers and over the Summer the police were at that house about 20 times,so they knew there were issue's,the most current of them being Teddy was locked out of the home with no shoes on in the snow and the cops show up and knock at the door and tell the man to let him in. WHY WASN'T HE TAKEN AWAY TO CSB THEN? Shame on the whole system, they dropped the ball on this one. Maybe investigate CSB as well as Struthers Police Dept?

I am sure that Shain Widdersheim will be a candidate for mother of the year.

The problem starts clearly with all the adults in this young victim life....family, parents, Children's Services, teachers. The only ones who tried to help were THE NEIGHBORS! Where was Mahoning County on this??? Were the usual lazy county mandated employees out on one of their 15 smoke breaks a day,or trying to take off a half a day and still get paid, or coming to work too late so they can take up the rest of the day to file a complaint against the county and/or all had the same lame excuses for not doing the job they are paid to do..... which is to complain about their work load...then try to pass this victim's file off to whoever was next on the "I don't have to do this. It's not my job" list. Shame on Mahoning County for letting this boy down!! THIS DID NOT HAVE OR NEED TO HAPPEN MAHONING COUNTY CHILDREN'S SERVICES BOARD! . Yea, the buck does stop with you...huh! Come on commissioners. Get off your lazy a---s and do an investigation and fumigate that lazy department downtown!!!! This Zaryl POS....he needs nothing more than eternal life in prison and so does that rotten scum bag POS woman who chose to be this poor boy's mother And....oh yes..... let's make completely sure they both get a really good case of frost bitten feet before they are sent up. Eternal prison. Let them both rot right in eternal hell where they both belong.

Hey, endthismess, do your research!!! I am familiar with this situation!! The teachers DID THEIR JOB in this matter. It was repeatedly reported. I know the teachers involved with this child. They are devastated! Once a child is home schooled, the district cannot do much more. Call the governor!! And get the facts straight!
