President fails to impress as he abolishes capitalism

President fails to impress as he abolishes capitalism

I quote President Obama: “If you like your present insurance you can keep it. If you like your doctor you can keep him, period.” Obama repeated these statements 24 times during the past year.

What reason or reasons prompted the president to continuously and knowingly deceive the American public? Let’s go back to days of his first campaign when we so often heard the words “fundamental transformation.” He impressed with his words for a nation hungry for change, but how many of us were aware of the president’s true motivation: the abolishment of capitalism and a major move into socialism.

He planned to ignore the crucial problems facing the country — unbalanced federal budget, high unemployment and a national debt that has gone through the roof. I think the president believed by pushing universal health care down our throats and making it the law of the land he would have accomplished the first step toward his ambition of the complete transformation of our capitalist government into a European system.

We should be thankful his plan was so badly conceived and so clumsily implemented that it is now destroying itself.

However you can’t tamper with one-sixth of this country’s economy’s and personal insurance without creating serious problems. Insurance companies were misled by Obama and his helpers and told to make ready for the changeover from the old policies to the new plans. The companies complied and canceled millions of the current policies to be ready for the new programs.

We know now the websites were a total mess allowing only a trickle of people to get through, leaving millions holding canceled insurance policies and wondering what was going to happen to them. While this situation is becoming worse as each day goes by, you, Mr. President and your administration can only hope the insurance companies can rectify the damage inflicted on the millions of policy holders.

Mr. President, in your stubborn determination to sell your unpopular plan to the public, you have deceived us at every turn, and I fear this will cause a tremendous burden on the taxpayers.

Mr. President, your rhetoric is masterful, but words must bear substance to be effective.

Obama promised to "FUNDAMENTALLY" change America and he is fullfilling his promise. What once was the best country in the world, we have now become just like Socialist Europe and headed towards a bankrupt county like GREECE. Sadly, those who follow this PRESIDENT are the LOW information voters who only want freebies . . .

"...as he abolishes capitalism"

Is it any wonder industry has fled this country over the years? My god, talk about an unemployable level of intellect.

eivo, hurry up and get to the bank to cash your social security check. And make sure you don't miss your next doctor appointment which, of course, will be paid for by medicare. Guaranteed. The bags are all the same. And then you wonder why the vast majority of Americans are sick of your game. IF even one of you had any credibility ie, not a hypocrite, then someone might listen to you. But you don't. So we won't.

doubled By the sound of your prior post you know exactly what to do when your welfare check shows up. You probably use the ER for all of your medical problems too.

"Abolishes capitalism?"

You can always count on some right-winger to give his nose a periodic break from being stuck in FauxNews so he can scribble a missive regurgitating the usual talking points.

"Abolishes capitalism," indeed! Is that your explanation for the doubling of the Dow since Obama took office? Is that called "abolishing capitalism?"

So iajoc doesn't like Fox News. Evidently he doesn't watch that channel. If he did watch, he would find out that Orielly just raised 10M (that's 10 million dollars) so that every veteran who lost a limb, in our recent wars, will be outfitted with a Trac Chair. Each Chair cost $15,000. I wonder if he can show me someone from MSNBC who could accomplish that.

Fox News employs more liberals than all of the cable channels, and all of the network channels put together. For example, the very liberal Juan Williams is on their payroll for 2M per yr. Bob Beckel, on The Five, his estimated salary is $500,000 per yr.

Every evening from 7 to 11PM, from Oreilly to Hannity invites liberals to debate so that both sides can be heard. There is give and take. That is what a debate is, give and take.

On MSNBC, for example, it is rare for a conservative to be heard. There is seldom a debate. Everyone who appears there agrees with everyone else on the program. There is no give and take.

A wise man once said " I have never learned anything from a man who agreed with me."

As for abolishing capitalism. I recently read in a national business magazine about a company, in North Carolina, who 10 years ago employed 400 people in a non union shop. In addition to the plant mgr, they employed 6 engineers plus 5 supervisors. Since Obama has been in office, they have laid off 100 men, 5 engineers, and 3 supervisors, and yet they have maintained their previous production. They have made loads of money, and put these dollars in their treasurey because they have no idea what the future holds with Obama at the helm.

Many companys have done the same. They have cut employees to the bone and have learned to operate efficiently putting the extra dollars away. They don't want to expand because they have no idea what the future holds under Obama so they are hoarding dollars.

And that sir is why the Dow has done so well.
