YOUNGSTOWN

St. Casimir Society will sponsor a “kolachi and koledy” event from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Brier Hill Cultural Center, 145 Jefferson St.

The event will include a Polish and American carol sing-along featuring the St. Casimir Choir. An appetizer reception will follow.

The cost is $10 at the door.

The cultural center is the former St. Casimir Church, which closed Feb. 25, 2012. This event recalls the church tradition of a midnight Mass with carol sing followed by a reception.
