CAMPBELL

City police are searching for the man who robbed a 28-year-old Jackson Street resident outside of the Family Dollar at 349 Robinson Road early Monday.

According to police, the suspect — described as a black male about 5 feet 3 inches tall and between 150 and 170 pounds — approached the victim near his car in the store’s parking lot about 9 a.m. Monday.

The suspect, dressed all in black, drew a black revolver, pointed it at the victim and demanded money.

After taking the victim’s wallet, the suspect fled toward Blackburn Street. City police searched the area, but could not find the man.
