The top five concert tours, ranked by average box-office gross per city. Includes the average ticket price for shows in North America. The previous week’s ranking is in parentheses. The list is based on data provided to the trade publication Pollstar by concert promoters and venue managers.

v (1) Bon Jovi: $1,518,974; $93.32.

v (New) Pink: $1,487,913; $88.08.

v (New) Pearl Jam: $1,265,566; $69.64.

“The Futurama Holiday Spectacular” (8 p.m., Comedy Central): Al Gore and Coolio help the Planet Express gang save Christmas, Kwanzaa and Robanukah.

“The Sing-Off” (8 p.m., NBC): It’s time to face the music on “The Sing-Off” as the final three groups find out which of them will claim the $100,000 grand prize and a recording contract.

“The Great Christmas Light Fight” (9 p.m., ABC): Tonight’s Clark Griswold-like winner of “The Great Christmas Light Fight” gets $50,000, which should be just enough to pay off their electric bill.

“Christmas in Norway with the St. Olaf Choir” (9 p.m., PBS): A pair of choirs loot the holiday song canon for beautiful carols and hymns.

“Hollywood Game Night” (10 p.m., NBC): What gave away that this is a special holiday edition? Was it the “holly” in Hollywood?

“Jiro Dreams of Sushi” (10 p.m., PBS): This graceful “Independent Lens” documentary explores the life of obsessive 85-year-old Japanese chef Jiro Ono.

Donkey basketball games scheduled

MINERAL RIDGE

Staff and friends of the Fairhaven School in Niles and representatives from various Trumbull County school districts will team up to play a donkey basketball game Jan. 17 at Mineral Ridge High School, 1334 Seaborn St.

Proceeds will benefit the Fairhaven School and Special Olympics.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. with the games starting at 6. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at the school. Call 330-652-5811 to order or for information.

Donkey basketball is played on a basketball court, but with the players riding donkeys. Four teams of eight players will compete in two playoff games and a championship game. There are two six-minute periods for each game.

Gary Numan sets 2 regional concerts

British synth-rock pioneer Gary Numan will come to Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland on March 19 and Altar Bar in Pittsburgh on March 20.

Tickets are $27.50 at ticketweb.com for Beachland; and $25-$30 at ticketfly.com for Altar Bar.
