Woman pleads in stabbing death

YOUNGSTOWN

A woman charged with stabbing her boyfriend to death in their Boardman home June 4 pleaded guilty today to a reduced charge of voluntary manslaughter in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Tequila Haskins, 28, entered her plea before Judge James C. Evans. She was originally charged with murder for the death of 28-year-old Brian Tubbs after she found him in bed with another woman at their Moyer Avenue home.

Haskins is free on bond and set to be sentenced Feb. 14.

FREE ON BOND? SHE MURDERED SOMEONE!!! I don't care WHAT he was doing... Murder is murder. YOUNGSTOWN WAKE UP!!!! We have a murderer running free, what are we thinking????
