Vintage Estates lists holiday beer winners

Vintage Estates has announced the winners of its fourth annual Blind Christmas & Winter Beer Taste, where beer enthusiasts taste and score various holiday beers.

The winner was Hoppin’ Frog Frosted Frog; second place, Fat Head’s Holly Jolly; and the third-place beer was Southern Tier 2XMAS.

UAW Local 1112 to host ‘Care & Share’

WARREN

UAW Local 1112 will host its annual “Care & Share” food-distribution event Dec. 18 at the union hall in Lordstown.

There will be an informal reception at 9 a.m., and the distribution event will follow at 11 a.m.

The effort will benefit more than 300 families in the area.

Aqua Ohio program has $2.3M for Valley

Aqua Ohio Inc. announced its $23 million infrastructure investment program, which included $2.3 million in projects throughout the Mahoning Valley.

The local investment, in its Struthers/Masury operating divisions, included parts of Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

Aqua Ohio Inc. operates 33 water systems across the state.

It serves 450,000 residents in 16 counties.

Santa at Farmers; Kiwanis will host

The Kiwanis Club of Western Mahoning County will host Santa Claus at Farmers National Bank in Canfield on Dec. 21.

Santa will be at the bank at 20 S. Broad St. from 9 a.m. to noon.

Safety record nets award for Anderson

Anderson Coach & Travel recently received the Bronze President’s Circle Certificate from TRAX Insurance Ltd. for its outstanding safety record.

The TRAX annual Risk Control Awards considers the member’s efforts to reduce exposure in worker’s compensation, garage liability and auto loss.

A risk-management audit by safety professionals and other statistical analyses were used to evaluate members for the awards.
