Bethlehem WELCA of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 388 E. Midlothian Blvd., Youngstown, will present Holiday Bingo from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Clarks Mills United Methodist Church, 3813 Hadley Road, Clarks Mills, Pa., 724-253-2424, will host a bake sale-rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Many crafters and vendors will be selling Christmas decorations, toys, jewelry, household items, etc. Lunch will be available in the form of homemade soups, pies and sandwiches, and takeout soup will be sold by the quart.

Newton Falls Community Center, 52 E. Quarry St., will be the location of a Community Christmas Arts and Crafts show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 15. Santa will arrive at 2:30 p.m. Also there will be a basket raffle, 50-50 drawing, crafters, hot food, coffee and pie, veterans pantry, local food drive and Toys for Tots.

Niles First United Methodist Church, 608 N. Crandon Ave., will be the site of a holiday vendor and craft show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 14 in memory of Courtney Miller of Niles, who passed away in a tragic car accident coming home from Florida. All proceeds will be donated to Courtney’s Coats for Kids sponsored by the Courtney Miller Memorial Fund. Also planned are a basket auction and bake sale. Courtney’s Coats for Kids will be there selling T-shirts and passing out information. Santa also will be there from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with his Christmas mailbox collecting letters and wish lists. He will hand out candy canes and early Christmas gifts.

St. Michael Orthodox Church, 125 Steel St., Youngstown, is seeking vendors for a craft show and flea market planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Kielbasa, haluski and other foods will be available. Call the Rev. Andrew Gromm at 330-799-8133.


Trumbull Senior Production Company is hosting a Christmas Lottery Tree raffle fundraiser at Santisi’s IGA in Girard. The event runs through Dec. 15 and the winning lottery ticket of $150 will be drawn Dec. 16. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any cashier at Santisi’s. Proceeds will benefit a needy family, the Salvation Army and a $1,000 scholarship to an area high school graduate who is pursuing a career in the performing arts.


Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will host a Christmas cookie walk, soup and quilt sale from 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 14. Homemade cookies will cost $5 a dozen, your pick. Hubbard Pool Boosters Winter Wine Tour is set for Saturday. The cost is $35 per person and includes stops at L’uva Bella, Masterpietro, Candlelight and Emerine Estates.
