55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at noon Tuesday at Eat’n Park Restaurant in Austintown for the annual Christmas gathering. Take hats, gloves, scarves or socks for children. This is the last meeting.

1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Great Hall of St. Nicholas Church on Fifth Street in Struthers. John Texter will preside. Cancellations must be made today to Sandy Redeske at 330-755-5192. Any calls after that day will not be accepted. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. Cards and bingo will be played. To report illness or death call Pat Bozichovich at 330-755-7552. This meeting is the annual Christmas dinner, and refreshments will be served.

Coitsville Seniors will have their Christmas party at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Bedford Trails Golf Course Restaurant, 713 Bedford Road. Jane Orlo will preside, and a Christmas devotion will be given by Blanche Sylvester. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. A 50-50 drawing will take place, and card bingo will be played. Christmas carols will be sung. Members are reminded to take their gifts for the gift exchange.

Freetimers, the Youngstown State University Retirees Club, will meet for its monthly breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson’s in Cornersburg. All retirees are invited to go for breakfast and conversation.

Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet at 7 p.m. Saturday at Gianna’s Banquet Hall. Lunch will be provided by Phyllis Nolfi. Reservations were taken for this annual Christmas party. For late reservations or to report illnesses or deaths call Mary Mascarella at 330-536-8748.

Mahoning Retired Teachers Association will have its annual holiday social and meeting Dec. 11 at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St., Boardman. The social will begin at 11 a.m., and lunch will follow at 11:45. The meeting will feature the Boardman High School Jazz Band and the installation of officers. Monetary donations will be collected for the Salvation Army and toys for children 12 and under. To make a reservation call Margie Patterson at 330-750-6257 by Wednesday.

S.O.A.R. 27-2 and 27-6, Steelworkers Retirees Local Union 1330 and 1331, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Niles-Canfield Road, for the annual Christmas party. Advance reservations are required. Members are reminded to take cookies for a cookie table.

St. Charles Over-55 Club will have its Christmas luncheon at noon Dec. 10 in the church hall. The cost is $9. For information call Carolyn Valensi at 330-726-2375.

Upcoming activities for senior citizens organizations are published Sunday. Please submit information to the Society Department by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
