Boy, 15, gets locked up for burning boy, 7

PITTSBURGH (AP) — The mother of a 7-year-old western Pennsylvania boy says a 15-year-old charged with burning her son has been ordered to juvenile detention — and could remain there until he’s 21, depending on how his rehabilitation progresses.

The attacker isn’t being identified because his case played out in a closed Butler County Juvenile Court hearing on Wednesday.

But police have previously said the boy is the son of 36-year-old Edward Myers, of Saxonburg, who has already been ordered to stand trial on charges he threw flammable nail polish onto the 7-year-old before his son set the younger boy on fire back in May. Myers lived with the boy’s mother.

That woman, Laure Halliwell, says her son is undergoing counseling once a week to deal with the third-degree burns that scarred his face and chest.

There's a lot this article doesn't say, such as that Edward Meyers and his two sons were shooting this young boy with air guns on top of lighting him on fire multiple times.

This moron and his sons need to permanently go away.
