Today’s entertainment picks:

v Arab American Festival, 10 a.m.: The event will highlight Middle Eastern music, food and merchandise along West Federal Street, Youngstown. Singer Tony Mikhael is the featured performer.

v Greek Taverna Weekend, noon to 9 p.m.: Eat lamb, souvlaki, gyros while listening to Greek music at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church, 401 12th St., Campbell. The event continues from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

v Michael Jackson tribute, 7 p.m.: MJXpressions presents the show honoring the late pop artist at Judge Leo P. Morley Performing Arts Pavilion in Mill Creek MetroParks. A team of 22 including a band, dancers and choreographer will take the stage. Call 330-702-3000.

vMeet the YSU Marching Band, 7:30 p.m.: Come to Stambaugh Stadium, 1 University Plaza, Youngstown.

v Polka Bash, 1 to 8 p.m.: Del Sinchak, Frank Stanger and Frank Moravcik play at the end-of-summer event at Kuzman’s, 1025 S. State St., Girard. Call 330-545-8995.

“Escape From Polygamy” (8 p.m., LIFETIME): The TV film, gives the big-love treatment to a tale about a widow (Mary McCormack of “In Plain Sight”) who takes her teen daughter to an isolated polygamous compound. Naturally, some major drama ensues.

“Community Connection” (7 a.m. Sunday on 21 WFMJ-TV and 7 p.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): The Rev. Dr. Lewis Macklin, chairman of the first Warren Youngstown African American Male Wellness Walk, will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the event planned Aug. 31 at Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 505 Parkcliffe Ave., Youngstown. Susan Henderson, WFMJ image consultant, along with Brittany Griffiths, Courtney Gobel and Michelle Farelich, will preview back-to-school styles for price-conscious parents in a fashion show.

“Increase the Peace” (6:30 p.m. today and 6:30 a.m. Sunday on MyYTV): Host Andrea Mahone welcomes Nikki Davis and Lynette Miller of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, which will celebrate its 100 years of service nationally. A local celebration will take place Sept. 27.

“A Conversation with Dee” (8:30 a.m. Sunday on WKBN-TV): Host Dee Crawford talks with Malinda Gavins, program director at Sojourner House, which was established in 1991 to provide services to victims of domestic violence in Mahoning County. Its “Chocolate Wine, Dine and Groove” dance party will be detailed.

Nathan Kress, 21, who portrayed Freddie Benson on the hit Nickelodeon show “iCarly,” will sign autographs and take photos with fans from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at center court at Eastwood Mall. He had a dual role as the voices of “Easy” and “Tough Pup” in “Babe: Pig in the City.”
