Teachers union and Youngstown schools negotiate at 4 today

YOUNGSTOWN

Members of the Youngstown Education Association, the union representing city school teachers, and school district representatives will meet at 4 p.m. at the school board office for another round of contract negotiations. A news release from the YEA says that the union recognizes a need for shared sacrifice but says that members don’t want to go backwards.

Yes, give them more money! After all they made the top of the list of the worst schools in Ohio! Give them more money and praise. That's the very, very top of the worst list!

That's the American way throw money at a problem and hope that , that solves everything. These teachers wouldn't get a raise until the school system grades improve. Plain and simple
