LIBERTY

A 7-year-old bicyclist was transported to St. Elizabeth Health Center with non-life-threatening injuries after he was hit by an SUV this afternoon, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

The cyclist, who was not identified by the patrol, pulled out of a private driveway in the 1400 block of Keefer Road and into the path of a northbound 2004 Chevrolet Suburban driven by a 74-year-old Liberty man about 12:16 p.m., according to the patrol, which is investigating the crash.
