Ballyhoo has its own personality
The 2013 Ballyhoo Music Festival will take place from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and 1 to 11 p.m. Saturday at Biketown Harley-Davidson, 5700 Interstate Blvd., featuring headliners Unsaid Fate and the Midlife Chryslers, featuring Michael Stanley.
The annual event includes performances by 40 bands on two stages. Admission is $5 (those who purchase a wristband Friday will get in free Saturday). Parking is free.
Now in its third year, Ballyhoo is adding bands with a national reputation as it expands.
“Ballyhoo is starting to take on a personality of its own,” said Scott Austalosh, event founder and organizer.
