In all three of the robberies the suspects were described at two black teens with black bandannas covering their faces, according to Youngstown Police Department reports. In all three incidents only one of the two suspects was reported to have a gun. The police have not officially linked the three robberies, but all three occurred within about 1 mile of each other.

The first incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Broadway near Ohio Avenue. The two suspects told the victim to get down on the ground and took the man’s wallet before fleeing down Ohio Avenue, according to a report.

The second robbery was at 11:25 p.m. Saturday on Fifth Avenue. A woman was returning home from work and was preparing to open her door when she was approached by two young black males with bandannas covering their faces.

The woman was told to give the suspects money out of her purse. They fled with $17, according to the report.

The last of the three robberies occurred at Ford and Alameda avenues just south of Crandall Park at 2:23 a.m. Sunday.

The victim was walking to his car after attending a party on Redondo Road nearby. As the victim got into his car he was approached by the two males, one of which commanded him to get out the car, according to the report. The suspect then took the victim’s wallet out of the vehicle removed $80 and threw the wallet back inside.

That is why the Northside is called a historical district. Historically to can still get robbed there. No mater what you do it will never change. Here is a safety tip for those who get robbed at night. DO NOT WALK THE STREETS OF THUGTOWN. It is not safe!!!
