Vice squad cites underage drinkers

Vice squad members cited three people for underage drinking at about 12:10 a.m. today in the parking lot of an East Midlothian Boulevard bar where five people were arrested last week after a series of brawls.

Cited at Pal Joey’s was Dallas Tripoulas, 18, of Warren; Quentin Lewis, 20, of Youngstown; and Ariel Painter, 20, of Panama City, Fla.

All were summoned to appear in Youngstown Municipal Court Friday.

Last week, five people were arrested on disorderly conduct charges at the bar after several fights broke out around closing time and officers from other parts of town had to be called in to help disperse the crowd.

Of those five who were arrested last week, four were under the legal drinking age of 21.

Police Chief Rod Foley said he told the vice squad to keep an eye on the bar to crack down on underage drinking and also to help head off any repeats of the fights from last week.
