Published: Thu, August 15, 2013 @ 11:06 a.m.

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Coroner’s office has identified the body of a man who was killed in a hit-and-run accident Friday on U.S. Route 422 in Warren.

Forensic pathologist Dr. Joseph Ohr said family photographs were used to help family members identify Thomas F. Everidge, 54, of Kinsman, as the person hit by a van about 7 p.m. at Route 422 and Adelaide Avenue Southeast.

Photographs were also used to help identify markings on Everidge found during an autopsy, Dr. Ohr said in a news release today.

He thanked the community and the media for their help in identifying Everidge.
